I understand what you said about *not overcomplicating* However, I can build simple webages that are well-optimized for seo in a just a few minutes and already have SEnuke
Would you advise doing “normal” SEnuke approach of building money page with link to cpa site and having the hub, wetpaint etc point to that money page or would that just be making an extra hoop for buyers to jump through and better just to go straight to cpa site from “feeder pages”
Thank you,
Gary Fritts
zerofill Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 2:16 pm
We just get the freebie pages ranked…because offers come and go rapidly in CPA…but you can recycle the traffic from those pages with new offers in the same niche just by changing the url.
Jeremy Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 2:33 pm
Gary,
If you are more comfortable throwing up regular pages — by all means do it
The only problem you run into is sometimes offers disappear…With the freebie sites we can just change the offer link to something related and keep rollin
moussant Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 3:30 pm
If thats all - then not a problem as just as easy to change your own page as a “free page” a link is a link (pretty witty , huh?)
Downloaded the video, but a lot times the video is distorted. especially when you scroll it up and down, is it only me or others are also experiencing this problem. Other than that, great information.
Did you do any other thing than just putting the hub page up to get the site jump up so quick in just a matter of hours? Last time I check it was already on the 1st page for keyword buy acai burn.
Thanks
Raymond
Jeremy Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Ray, I bookmarked it at Digg and Propeller….
that is it.
If it doesn’t go further up, I’ll bookmark it a couple other places and do the RSS as well

Jeremy,
you responded …
“If it doesn’t go further up, I’ll bookmark it a couple other places and do the RSS as well :)”
I know what an RSS feed is but I don’t know how to set it up. I could google it but I’m not even sure what to google? LOL
Thanks,
Sandra
BTW Great videos!
Jeremy Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 8:15 pm
Sandra — I will make another video probably tomorrow afternoon explaining RSS and bookmarking
I set up a hubpage and tried to bookmark it in socialmarker. I can’t bookmarked it at propeller. A message returned “This domain has been banned for the following reason: “This domain has been banned for spam content.”
What do you think went wrong?
Thanks
Raymond
Jeremy Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 11:01 pm
They very well could have banned it
Not a whole lot anyone can do about that…just bookmark it somewhere else
JohnK Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 7:44 am
Raymond - the videos are distorted for me too. I think I was able to follow along though.
As you mentioned, the keywords we will be targeting will show “Not Enough Data” in Google’s External Keyword Tool and we should not worry about that.
But, what about Google Insight…your acai burn showed several keywords through Rising Searches. But if there is not enough data for a particular keyword in Google Insight, should we cross that keyword off the list?
Thanks,
Kevin
zerofill Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 6:37 pm
I think I know what you are asking Kevin…
And that is a tricky part. You can look at competition in adwords to possibly get a feel for it…and even test it. If you see something that you just can’t get any data for even from insights…through up a quick hubpage or squidoo lens and see what the traffic looks like after a few days. I have found keywords countless times that had massive adwords competition but no search data to be found. They turned out to be pretty good. The reason being is because you never know what recent news or magazine article etc may have brought those searches out. So you have to test them.
Jeremy, do you think it’s even worth bothering to purchase a domain (ie http://www.acaiberryburn.com, etc) and, when creating your Hub/Squid pages to also add a 2nd link to the new domain? I’m thinking long-term here. The Squid/Hub pages will rank faster, but so will your new domain after a long while.
Or is this market so volatile that it isn’t even worth it?
I’m also thinking of flipping the site down the line.
One thing with CPA companies is - the offer is here today and gone tomorrow type of deal. With the free sites, even if the offer is gone, I can change the text up in it or just link them all to a different site for more link juice.
BlueSquares Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 8:34 pm
I hear ya.
I’m actually thinking it may be beneficial to flip the site and sell it once the CPA offers die.
Or drop in Adsense and let the traffic keep rollin’ in.
I”m having problems opening the video files. When Windows media player opens, it says” it does not support the file tyep or the codec used to compress the file is incompatible. I”m using vista. ANybody know how to fix this problem?
I can’t wait to watch the videos.. would really appreciate some help
Thanks
Gary Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 4:23 am
I found that I had to go into the folder and click on the .wmv file in order to view the videos.
I am using the free player from http://www.videolan.org - it handles all types of video files.
Jeremy,
The offer that I’m interested in at Market Leverage doesn’t have any contextual ads, only email and banners. But they do allow web & search traffic. Should i just pick something else or ?
Thanks,
Sandra
Jeremy Reply: March 20th, 2009 at 11:03 pm
Sandra, I’m not real sure what the creatives look like at market leverage off the top of my head…I’ll look at them and post back.
zerofill Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 3:52 pm
Look all the way at the bottom and you might have to click next a few times…their User Interface sucks in my opinion…look for plain text ads
Gary Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 4:25 am
How did you get into ML?
They declined me.
I’m in other CPA networks so not too worried.
Gary
sandracee Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 7:32 pm
Hey Gary,
I just did did what Jeremy suggested here. I don’t have a website or anything but I just threw in some lingo when I spoke to them on the phone. I think its just hit or miss w/ these CPA networks though.
How do we approach offers that does not have searches /minimal searches on Google insights? Do we skip them? I’m only with 3 networks at the moment so I don’t have that much of a choice. I checked out many trial products on these 3 networks and most of them either doesn’t have or have minimal searches on GI. But I still went ahead and did 2 offers just like how you showed us in the videos… no harm trying, I guess.
Jeremy Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 12:09 am
Google Insights is only one small piece of the puzzle. Still get the tags from YouTube and places like the social bookmarking site that I showed you.
Depending on the niche, General keyword terms might work as well. The key with CPA offers is “creativity”.
Hey guys, great stuff here, but I’m a total newbie, so bear with me.
1. Are you buying a general domain related to diet category for this and future campaigns or one for each keyword. This could get expensive as you say, the offers come and go. How do you know when the offer expires?
2. Why all the groundwork in JumpTag, Youtube and Insights when you just end up at the Google Keyword Tool. Why not just go there to begin with?
3. How do you bookmark your Hub Page into Digg and Propeller and set up RSS?
Thanks…Tim
Jeremy Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 12:35 am
1. I’m not buying any domains….I’m using all free sites for this. If you wanted to do it on your own domain you certainly could.
2. The only thing that I am using the google keyword tool for is to verify the fact that people are paying for advertising.
3. I’m going to have to do a video on this as it seems that there is more than one person that is asking about bookmarking and rss

Tulip,
Tough one there…
I will TRY but, I can’t make any promises…the video content was almost an hour long and I’m not sure I can transcribe it and still keep up with questions and getting new content ready to be posted for you guys.
Two things.
First a thank you. I’m not sure why but your bootcamp has gotten me to take action right away. That’s got to be 80-90% of it. At least for me.
Second. I noticed that your posts in Zimbio and Hub are the same. I’m still reading conflicting information about duplicate content. Could you give us your view on that?
Thanks,
Roy
Jeremy Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 2:06 pm
Roy, duplicate content is one of those subjects that people are never going to agree on
My view on it is that there is no penalty. However, with that being said, I will still usually change up a small portion of the article — maybe the beginning or the end.
The xlm file I imagine is the spread sheet…I cannot open it.
I’m on a mac and I tried with OpenOffice…just get a lot of garbage words.
I’ve never had a problem before using openoffice for these types of files. I dont have any excel type programes. Any way around this?
For a different question:
Can you guys explain what ECP is and how it relates to choosing an offer, is the higher the number better for the network or worse?
Thanks
Oosha Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Okay, what I know about EPC.
EPC is “earnings per click.”
A higher paying offer is not always the best, because of the different landing pages. Although a particular CPA offer may pay a higher rate, the landing page may not be converting well. A higher EPC means the landing page is converting well.
But we can still promote some offers like email submits and surveys with low EPC because of the huge number of clicks such offers receive and this compensates for the low EPC.
Now I need clarification here. My question to Jeremy or Don is:
If we take an offer with a high EPC, it means the traffic is highly targetted. The EPC is high because the landing page is converting well with fewer clicks. In order to take advantage of the high EPC, would it help if we use “long tail keyword phrases?”
I’m looking forward to your video on social bookmarking and rss bookmarking. I don’t know much about them — but would like to!
I have a few questions:
Question 1: If you’re just going to focus on “buying keywords,” why bother with all that keyword research? Why not just take the product name + “review” (or “buy”) and run with it? (I must be missing something here, right?)
Question 2: It would seem like using free sites (such as hubpages) would be BETTER than setting up your own site because it would be indexed faster. Plus, since the offers are short-lived, it’s kind of nice that the free sites are essentially “throw-aways.”
Question 3: I was SURE you were going to use ezinearticles.com (and a redirect URL) — but you didn’t! ;>) Did you avoid them because EZA won’t allow direct linking to cpa/aff offers?
Question 4: On a related note, why did you choose hubpages and zimbio? Why not squidoo and blogger?
Thanks,
Johnny
Jeremy Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 2:05 pm
Hey Johnny,
We try to make the videos as simple as possible
To answer your questions…
We still go through the keyword research because you can still often find “gems” in there that don’t contain the words buy and review — plus the google tool is a good automated way to know whether or not other people are paying for traffic for the particular keywords.
As far as EZA - You can still redirect with them, BUT you have to be a little tricky with it you set up a regular site on your own hosting to put in your resource box so that EZA can check it and approve the article — after they do, you redirect the URL to go straight to the trial offer
No particular reason for HubPages and Zimbo really. I probably will throw up a squidoo and blogger as well. I just wanted to show some examples that were a little different than what people are used to seeing
First, thanks for all the great info. The simple step by step methods are awesome!
Second, Jeremy are you at the high or low price point at senuke. I would like your affiliate link - to try to give something back.
Thanks again guys,
Alan

Jeremy Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 2:19 pm
Oosha,
This is exactly the reason that I chose the keywords that I did…
“buy acai burn”
“acai berry diet reviews”
These are keywords that are obvious “buying keywords” and people looking for these phrases are more likely to buy than not — especially due to the fact that they are able to get it for $4 — the cost of shipping and handling.
The kind of phrases that I wouldn’t target with these types of offers are the generic phrases like…

Jeremy:
Unless EZA has recently changed their rules, you CAN just do a simple domain redirect. I checked with them a while back. AT THAT TIME, they said you can redirect from EZA, but it has to be to a top-level domain. In other words, one that you own. Then, instead of hosting, you would then just redirect to the cpa offer. No hosting or actual website is needed!

Yeah we do that all the time…actually later you can even write a more sophisticated script that can check referrers and depending on which article was clicked send them to an offer. Thus using the same domain for multiple offers. After it has been approved.

Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 7:10 am
Johnny,
I’ve found that EZA doesn’t really care for the CPA offers.
Over the past couple of months they have actually become very picky about which pages they actually want linked to and because CPA offers generally have very little to no actual content — they are not favorites of EZA.
Hey Jeremy, I love the content, and over delivering on this blog ain’t the word for it. This is the best WSO I ever bought… and I bought some very good ones
Quick question… Should I apply to ad-networks this weekend and try to catch them by phone monday morn? Or will I get lost in all the monday morning volume.
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 7:08 am
dmail,
I’ve found that the best time to contact the networks is actually on Tuesday and Wednesday.
As with any other business, I imagine Mondays are a pretty hectic day for them.
This is great stuff! The majority of CPA methods I’ve seen in WSO’s thus far have been black hat stuff that I wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole, so it’s really refreshing to find a method that is easy and straightforward and won’t risk my CPA accounts.
One question about this method. You showed us how you did the keyword research and then put up articles on Hub pages and Zambo. Then you mentioned doing the same thing for the other keywords. What I’m wondering is if you set up a new Hub page for each keyword, or if you add the new articles to the original one you already have. I would imagine you set up new pages, but if so, how do you keep the original pages updated - or do you?
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 7:07 am
Some of the pages will never get updated….
What I do is pay attention to where the pages “fall”
If I do a hub today on a particular keyword, I’ll check Google usually about 2 days later and see where it is ranking — if it is on the first, second, or third page, I ‘ll go ahead and update it and throw it a little more link love.
However, if it is on the 15th page of Google or something like that — I just let it slip into the black hole.
sandracee Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 7:39 pm
Hey Jeremy,
You said …..if it is on the first, second, or third page, I ‘ll go ahead and update it and throw it a little more link love.
When you say you will update it, do you mean you will add more to the article, make it longer? This makes sense to me if its a blog where you could add another post but how about Hubpages, etc?
Thanks,
Sandra
Jeremy Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 7:45 pm
Sandra,
If it is something like a hub — Just edit a little more content into it.
If it is something like blogger or squidoo - add another post
After you do that — make sure to ping it somewhere like http://www.pingler.com and maybe resubmit RSS if you have the time.
If I decide to use hub pages, Zimbio, squidoo and blogger; do you think two of each with different keywords is enough to test one niche?
BTW, I took your suggestion and signed up with SEnuke and they are offering a 7-day trial now. They seem to have a lot of wonderful features. I’ll let you know how it goes.
ive started a blog with blogger, i have written an article but what i want to do is ad an affiliate banner, for the life of me i cant do it, i go into dashboard and edit html, then what do i do? im hoping someone that knows can help me
thanks guys
ps - loving the bootcamp!
Oosha Reply: March 21st, 2009 at 11:37 pm
You don’t need to edit HTML to add an affiliate banner.
If you want to have the banner in one of the side columns:
- Click on “Add a Gadget”
- Once it opens, click on “HTML/Javascript”, then paste the code for the banner and add a title.
If you want the affiliate banner above the article you have posted:
Go to “edit” in postings and then add this code above the post.
Hope this helps!

Jeremy,
Ok after watching the vid 2x (and probably once more tonight) here are a few questions:
1. you mention hubpages, squidoo, ezinearticles, etc can you give us a list of all the websites worth submiting to and which are the easiest ? lame questions sorry but i have never posted on any of these sites.
2. acai burn is a hot product but sometimes do you start doing research and decide to pass on that particular offer? or do you just go ahead and post the articles and see what you get?
3. in your text file you list keyword and rank their “difficulty”, how did you determine this?
thanks for the help!
sandra
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 7:04 am
1. I will throw a list up of some “free sites” — Look for that by the end of the night tonight.
2. If I can find good keywords - That is all I need
3. I make determinations of keyword strength by looking at what other pages are ranking on the first and second pages of Google. If I see a bunch of “free sites” and article directories — that is what I want to see. In most cases those types of keywords can be taken pretty easily.
Okay, I have a weird problem here and looking for someone to tell me it’s not because I did something stupid.
Every affiliate banner link that I copy and paste on my website leads to “Survey Scout.” I tested this with a whole lot of offers that all show “approved.”
I click on the “free candy” banner and survey scout opens up.
I click on the “free grocery voucher” banner and survery scout opens up.
I did write to them but no response (weekend?)
Any ideas ?
Gary Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 4:46 am
I’m wondering if you live in a country where that offer is not available - so they automatically redirect you.
In the fine print at the offer page, it will (should) tell you if the offer is only available in the USA.
I live in Australia and I find that some CPA offers are redirected to something else.
NEAT TRICK
You can view the offer by pasting the link into one of the free proxy sites such as http://www.hidemyprivacy.com
That removes your location from the equation and you see what Americans will see… because hidemyprivacy is based in the US. There are plenty of other free proxy sites in case you need more.
Gary
Oosha Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Thanks Gary!
I’m doing that now after someone here told me about these free proxies.
Are you outside the US? Many of Max Bounty’s offers are US only, so if you have an IP address outside the US, when you try to look at the links, they will show you an offer that is international instead. I know a lot of non-US CPA affiliates have to use a US proxy just so they can see the offers.
Gary Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 4:47 am
Oops, didnt see this when I wrote my treatise above.
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 7:01 am
Yes, this explains why I have so many hits to “survey scout” lol
Thanks for the response! I was in fact wondering if I’m not able to see the offers as I’m in India.
I’m able to view the landing page of the offer when I click on the “view landing url” but when I take the banner code from the creatives and paste it on my website, I’m being led to survey scout.
Does that mean that people from the US/Can/UK/Aus - based on the offer, are taken to the actual landing page?
Thanks!
lazavas Reply: March 22nd, 2009 at 3:41 am
yes people in the actual country are taken to the offer page, as someone said u can try viewing the landing page with http://www.proxify.com, it will allow u to see the landing page
Awesome videos Jeremy! When you were in your Max Bounty account your status was “Approved” I was looking through several offers and I don’t the “Approved” status. In my past experience once you were an affiliate you were automatically approved for offers, excluding maybe some exclusive offers. So I guess I need to contact them and find out what is going on or is there somewhere I am missing in my affiliate page that will allow me to be approved for offers?
I see that your affiliate link is at the bottom of your Hubpage article. When I add a link via the right hand side “content capsule”, the link appears way south of my article. How did you get it to appear at the end of yours, please?
Thanks,
Bruce
Gary Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 4:50 am
Bruce, try adding the link at the end of your article, ie. as the last paragraph of your article.
That’s still not right. I officially give up on this.
But if you right click on this or any HTML page, and then choose View Source, and then look for any hyperlinked word (such as Homepage - which is the first link on THIS page), you will see what the code looks like. Adapt that to your needs.
BruceA Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Gary,
Thanks for the replies. I’ll give the right click - HTML a try. Much appreciated.
Bruce
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 6:59 am
Bruce,
All I did was put the link where I wanted it?
I’m not real sure what is going on when you try to do it…
1) You mentioned in the videos to target “buying keywords”, but some of these keywords also have competition. How much competition is too much to warrant the work required to build a hubpage or squidoo lens? Obviously I’d stay away from competition with more than 2,000 results, but what is preferable.
2) I think I understand how you target those products with popular product names, like Acai Burn etc, but what is the strategy for CPA’s that are not product specific, like petstore Biz Op, or grants, or loans, or ringtones, etc.
Thanks
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 6:55 am
frankis,
We will get into that — but, this was for trial methods only and will work with almost all of them.
As far as keyword competition though, you really have to size up the competition…
I’m looking at the first and second pages of Google right now for a lot of the keywords that I put in the research pack and see that a lot of you guys are already ranking for a lot of the keywords
Don, Jeremy,
How about arranging an extended trial with the SENuke guys for your members?

Hi Jeremy and Don,
I’m Stacie, Alan’s wife. I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that I put up my first site EVER with your (and Alan’s) help! I followed all your steps and it was so EASY, Thank you!
One of my articles is on the first page top 5 for the keyword of a product . I used the methods from the videos. But the stats on my Maxbounty account shows only 2 clicks and no sale. So I threw up another page with a different keyword for the same product… same result. What am I doing wrong here?
Isn’t it Monday now? I wonder where is Jeremy and Don?
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 6:49 am
Neo,
Sorry about the delay in answers — I sent an email out as I was sick as hell for a coupe days…
When you are targeting the name of a product keyword you probably are not going to get 50 - 100 visitors a day like you would with a broad keyword like “lose weight”.
However, if it is a buying keyword you can expect that your conversion rates are going to be much better.
Also, don’t limit yourself to one or 2 keywords. Get a handful together and get them out there.
Jeremy Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
Neo, not every keyword is going to be a winner
If they were — We would all be millionaires
However, just give it some time. As the clicks start to build up you will see sales.
Jeremy, Don and anyone else who has gotten an article to rank:
How many times did you include your keyword in your article and where did you put them? In the beginning, middle, or end? Does it matter?
I posted an article and submitted it to digg but it is nowhere to be seen yet. When I went back though I realized that I had not put the exact keyword in the article itself (only the title) but had used variations of it - I’m guessing this won’t work.
What I do is have the main keyword in the domain name, title, the first para of the article and once in the middle somewhere and in the last para.
I stick to a keyword density around 1% or a little more. Make sure not to stuff your article with keywords.
I also use a secondary closely related keyword a few times in the article and that seems to work well for me.
Apart from Digg, Propeller and others; submit your article to yahoobuzz.com too, it usually takes me to the first page in no time.
Another site is blogcatalog.com. You can sign up and enter your blog there. Their links are no-follow but you end up on the first page for your keyword very soon. Only thing with these people is that you need to embed their link in your website/blog for them to confirm. I do that by making their link so small and placing it at the very bottom of the page, where it’s difficult for people to see it.
Let me know how it goes.
sandracee Reply: March 24th, 2009 at 7:43 am
Thanks for the help Oosha!
Question for you…. I am trying to submit my Zimbio article to Digg and it won’t allow it. Propeller on the other hand won’t take my Hub.
I get messages saying that they won’t accept the URL because of spam. I tried submitting another random Zimbio/Hubpages article and it (Digg/Propeller) would still not take it. So I don’t think its my particular article that they don’t like. Is this pretty common? Maybe that’s why we submit it to different bookmarking sites?
Also thanks for posting about Google analytics…..will try to figure out how to add it to my pages tonight.

Sandra,
Don’t worry if a site doesn’t accept something, just go ahead and try the others. I got the same message when I tried to submit my hubs at Propeller, so I guess they just don’t accept them. I haven’t yet used Zimbio, so I really don’t know. But then I doubt if it has anything to do with your articles – must be their policies.
Check out socialmarker.com (if you haven’t already). They have a list of social bookmarking sites. Choose the “best” ones and get accounts in all of them. Don’t bother about the rest of the sites just yet. As Jeremy said, keep it simple in the beginning.
All you need to do is click on “best” to select the sites, enter your site details in the “Bookmark Details” form that is on the top right hand corner and click “submit.” It will take you to all those sites one by one. You just have to drag and drop the information there. It’s very simple. Try with a couple of sites first to understand how it works.
Google analytics is pretty simple and they give detailed instructions on how it’s done.
If you need help with anything, just ask.
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 6:45 am
Sandra,
You will find that some of the social bookmarking sites won’t take certain sites….
For example, Digg won’t accept a bookmark from EzineArticles because some people will go in and try to bookmark all 500 of their articles. Now, the site itself(digg) looks at EZA as spam…
If a certain site won’t accept your article, don’t worry about it and just move to the next one
Are you keeping track of the number of visitors? Get Google analytics on your site or blog.
This way you know how many people are actually visiting your site.
Fewer clicks could mean one of the two:
1. You don’t have enough visitors and this happens when your keyword is not being searched for much. If you’re on the first page and it’s a well-searched for keyword, you will get plenty of traffic.
2. If you are getting enough traffic, but not many clicks, it could mean that the article is not able to create enough interest in your visitors for them to click on the links.
Be careful what you choose to promote. Acai rebill scam exposed on ABC.
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 6:42 am
Acai is getting a lot of flack right now….
Does it work? I don’t know….
However, people are getting upset with the fact that it is automatically rebilled. This is the same business model that probably more than half of the companies out there advertising on TV are using right now and they disclose it on their site. Basically, people are not reading what they are agreeing to.
Acai is definitely one of those things that won’t be for everyone to promote.
Can we really post an article promoting a CPA on hubpages.com ?
I was in the process of posting my article when I came to this
statement…”No promotional offers or Hubs designed only to promote another site or business” I went to zimbio and posted my article there with no problem. A list of other sites to post to would be nice.
Thanks
Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 6:40 am
Mr. Ex,
What Oosha says below me here is exactly right….
Actually, if you read the TOS of just about any of the “freebie sites” that are out there — not many if any of them are for “promotional” or “commercial” use.
However, with some of them like Squidoo and Blogger, you can use as many links as you want. Wordpress(free) and HubPages are 2 that you really have to walk a line with though. Never use more than 2 links in them and make sure that the links go to different places.
What they mean is that your hub shouldn’t sound too promotional. You have to make it sound informative and helpful. Just don’t start off with “buy this product” or some such thing.
With hub pages, you’re allowed to have two links only and you must ensure both don’t lead to the same place. For ex: One of my links is for the offer landing page and the other leads to my blog.
I had a problem with the video files. Windows Media Player would begin to play the video, the suddenly stop. The error message implied that the video files were corrupt.
What happened is that I used a download accelerator program which corrupted the video files during download.
I used the “save target as” right mouse button click option instead of the one click download and everything is working fine now.
What would you say to throwing up a couple of posts on Wordpress [not the free version] using a cheap .info domain name. Do you reckon this would work as well as the free sites you are mentioning.
Also I thought I read somewhere that Squidoo doesn’t allow health or slimming products to be promoted. I may have imagined it but…
Jeremy Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 7:41 pm
Marke,
If you prefer building your own sites as your “money page” that is absolutely fine — you will however still probably need some “supporting sites”
Hi Jeremy
There’s something I really don’t get with bookmarking, rss, etc. I hear a lot of people where they just make an article (ezine, squidoo, hubpages), bookmark and rss it and then bam… they get ranked in just a day or two. I just never seem to get it. I can’t remember that happening to me at all Is there a trick that I need to know? Am I missing something here?

Jeremy Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
Aimee,
I am working on a video for this now
Should be up tonight — but no later than tomorrow afternoon.
aim Reply: March 25th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
Oh Cheers, Jeremy. That’s great. I hope i’ll really get it this time.
I was in your first bootcamp where you explained it (great bootcamp that one- — have made some good money from the strategies you shared) and jsut did Kevin Riley’s seminar as well. I’ve been doing exactly what I understand I should be doing. But still not seeing any results. Do you think I’m just doing it with all the wrong keywords? Anyway, looking forward to the video.
Are you guys making any money with your example campaign? I don’t even see the Hub page you showed us showing in the Google results and I think you said you expected it to be page 1 by this time where it could generate some nice traffic.
I don’t see how you could be getting any traffic to your offern which is the common problem that most of us have.
With enough traffic, you can sell bags of dog poop but with limited traffic, it’s difficult to even give stuff away.
Please explain - thanks

Jeremy Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 10:28 am
Gary,
No we aren’t…
Not really anyway…We have 2 sales out of it…
But, the lack of sales has nothing to do with whether the method works or not. It has everything to do with 200 people suddenly attacking the keywords
For many of the keywords, if you look on the first couple pages of Google, you will see new hubs, lenses, bloggers, RSS Feeds, and bookmarks that have all popped up in the last 2 weeks.
It is impossible for me/us to compete on that level for a couple of keywords and prepare new content at the same time.
We do have another acai campaign targeting similar keywords for another brand of acai that is producing results for us though.
We also have several other similar campaigns for different types of products centered around the same kinds of keywords that are producing results…
For everyone that is going through this, if you take the information and apply it to different products you will see results — if you try to compete with 200 other people on the same words — you are screwed.
aim Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
Hi Jeremy
I’m targeting a totally different product and one that is not in the diet/weight loss niche even. Yet I am on the same boat.
I’ve done only 2 keywords. But haven’t really had any traffic. Could that be the reason? I do have buying keywords but they are not product specific. Is that another reason? Google competition with quotes is only 6000.
I don’t doubt at all that you can make money using this method. But as Gary says it does seem difficult to get the traffic. I’m so convinced I’m missing something very important here. I feel like I’m just at the verge of something and once I find what I’ve been doing wrong, I’m going to start making good money. Or do we all feel like that?
What do you think?
Aimee
Jeremy Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
Aimee,
I am getting some stuff ready and it will be uploaded here shortly (tonight) with the RSS and BookMarking stuff that will go a little more in depth and hopefully make everything a little more clear.
Like to get your thoughts on using this method with sub-domains? Building a quick one page site on a main keyword sub-domain and then bookmarking it, adding a zimbio page, etc?
Jeremy Reply: March 26th, 2009 at 1:25 pm
I”ve never had much luck with subdomains ranking unless it was a situation like this:
Hi
Jeremy you mentioned that pick the niche that makes money. I wonder if you could share the process at which you go about doing up the sites with content in 45 mins. How do you manage to finish the content research an write up some decent content.
Thanks
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 12:53 pm
The content itself is meant to be a “review” and “search engine bait” at the same time…
3% keyword density with a couple links should do the trick
Hey , Are we supposed to build landing pages and link to them from hubpages , squidoo and other social websites? or do we directly link to our CPA link ?
Right now I got accepted by hydra , markethealth and rocketprofit , how good are they and do you think I should get more CPA accounts?
Jeremy Reply: April 9th, 2009 at 11:05 pm
The companies that are with now are fine.
In the next days content, the linking structure will be clarified.
Jeremy or anyone using blogger…..I saw someone mention on here about making the post look like a static page. Is this necessary since I will only be posting one article (post)?
Also is anyone one using quizilla? This looks like a site to make quizzes??
Anyone check out wetpaint? This looks like a site to make a “wiki” where anyone can add to your article? Maybe I’m missing something????
Thank you,
Sandra
Jeremy Reply: April 9th, 2009 at 11:04 pm
Sandra, all of those sites are fine. The more the merrier
In typical affiliate marketing they might not be perfect, but we are just looking for sites to pass juice.
Ok guys one more question….I created a wordpress blog. Its up and running but I want to change the font ( I looked all over the forums but just want to confirm) is the only way to change the font to purchase the CSS upgrade? If so I’ll just leave as is
Thanks guys,
Sandra
Jeremy Reply: April 9th, 2009 at 11:03 pm
I think so sandra, I usually don’t mess with the fonts
Hi guys,
Another question. I created a Zimbio page a few weeks back and and I am just now finishing up my network of sites. I went back to Zimbio to add my 2 links but now the link button is not active (I can’t click on it).
Does anyone know how to get around this? Right now I just added my 2 links but they’re just regular text not live links. I assume these links do nothing for me right?
Thanks guys.
Sandra
sandracee Reply: April 7th, 2009 at 10:46 am
Ok after playing around with this I figured out how to add the links on Zimbio.
Its a little weird because Zimbio doesn’t have an HTML mode but I added the code in there saved it. Went back in and put my curser next to the code and then the link button works. Click on that button(your link should be in there already), hit save and then the link is live. Maybe there is an easier faster way but this is what worked for me.
I have never created a Hubpage before. (Weird I know) but I am familiar with squidoo and ezines etc. Anyhow, what I noticed is that Hubpages specifically says you are not allowed to promote another site and I would assume that means putting in a cloaked affiliate link as well. Is this one of the instances where your Hubpage would link to another one of your sources, like an Ezine article or the like?
Jeremy Reply: April 18th, 2009 at 5:46 pm
No need to worry about cloaking - Just don’t have any more than 2 links on your hub and you will be fine.
Hi Jeremy and Don
I just joined a couple of days ago, so I’m way behind and working through the content to catch up. You guys deserve a ton of praise for this course. The attention to your clients and their needs is exceptional and the content is extraordinary as well!!
My question is about the video when you went to Google to look up the buying keywords, specifically, buy acai burn. You looked over the results and said, “Yahoo Answers, Yedda, ezine articles, digg….you know, the first page is pretty weak for the keyword….full of Adwords ads over here…one on the next page…”.
Through my eyes, all I saw was a list of results/competitors on the first page of Google ranking for that keyword…..but you referred to them as being “weak”. Why is that…..what are you looking at to make that determination? Is it because none of the listings were established authority sites, or Amazon, or one of the other huge established sites?
In contrast, what would the first page of Google “look like” if you were to say, “that’s some strong competition on the first page”?
I’m trying to learn how you evaluate the results that come up on the first page as to whether they are weak or strong competitors.
I’m not a wet behind the ears newbie, but knowing these “little” things that are second nature to you guys, makes a huge difference to our success if we understand how important this step is.
Thanks guys!!
Carol
Jeremy Reply: April 20th, 2009 at 10:32 am
Carol - I evaluate weaks and strengths based off of the results on the first page of Google…
If I have to compete with a bunch of web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo, blogger, eza, etc…it’s just a matter of building enough links to take those spots.
If however, there are a bunch of “regular” websites with 30 pages of content and new natural links coming in every day from people around the internet then those are a little tougher to crack.
Done watching the videos and picked a trial offer but my results came up with no results for tags on jumptags and youtube for keyword research. I found this to be odd because the affiliate mgr of Maxbounty actually recommended this health product to me. Should I just go on to the next offer or is there something else I could do to promote it.
Also what do you suggest if you have a product that gives you tags for keyword research with Jumptags but no results for Youtube and vice versa?
Thanks,
Maurice
Jeremy Reply: April 27th, 2009 at 8:53 am
Well, your AM probably recommended it to you because it is new and they are trying to get some traffic to it
So, you could be proactive and simply use some buying keywords like:
buy X
X review
X reviews
free sample of X
etc…
Those terms will start getting some searches when the spam gods start beating down everyones emails with the offers……
Or you cold go to another offer where the data will be more visible.
I know you mentioned not doing PPC in the video, however if I was doing PPC would it be better to link directly to the CPA offer page?
I am thinking if I can get clicks for $0.60 and the offer converts at 1 in 20 or even 1 in 30 I am still up around $15 - $20 with a lot less work and if i was to buy SENuke coupled with the time I put into this, the cost of PPC might work out cheaper.
Jeremy Reply: April 28th, 2009 at 11:59 pm
Well, if you direct link, it is pretty much not possible to get .60 clicks
We have made decent landing pages with quality scores of 7+ and are still paying more than that in a lot of cases for decent keywords.
If you are intent on buying traffic, talk to your AM about a recommendation for a possible Media Buy. They should be able to steer you in the right direction with that.
The other problem that we are running into with PPC is morons aka competitors clicking on our ads.
If you do decide to go the PPC route though, give MSN a shot or even something like 7search.com so that you get a feel for it before jumping into adwords…unless you are already really experienced.
I just wanted to say thank you to Don and Jeremy; I am really happy with the purchase of this course. Before I joined I was already accepted into COPEAC so at least I had a network to begin with. I also got a call yesterday from MaxBounty and I got approved in 5 minutes. I watched Method 1 and did exactly what was taught. I applied the methods to a different product and I used SEnuke to do all the tedious work for me. This morning I checked to see how I ranked for a particular keyword. I was on top of Google’s 1st page! I ranked that high for wordpress and hubpages. Now I will just wait to see the first sale.
I’m still hearing chipmunk voices, the video itself is fine. It’s just the voice that is not working properly. Do you have any idea why I can’t hear the videos properly?
Hi Jeremy
Where are the videos that everbody are talking about .The download white hat link at the top of the page I have downloaded but there are no videos In that folder.
Hello Jeremy so let me get this right
after we use google keyword too to verify that ppc marketers are paying for clicks. We then stick the keyword into google and if the results show up such as EZ, digg, blogger, hubpage …any web2.0 page.. then that is a GOOD keyword to work on.
I look forward to your reply.
Best regards
Michael
Jeremy Reply: August 1st, 2009 at 9:16 pm
You got it
michaelnguyen Reply: August 2nd, 2009 at 5:14 am
you then create a small network of sites eg hubpages, blogger, wordpress.com quizilla and money page for each keyword?
So you could have 10 keywords = 10 small networks = 10 money pages just for the acai berry trial offer niche?
I am in Total aggrement with all the others who have experienced this bootcamp and the wonderful things they say! This is the best purchase I have ever made online, Period!
I just watched the trial offer strategy… Genius! I am so very thankful for what you guys are doing here for so many! Bless You and your families!
(¯`*•.(¯`*•.Questions .•*´¯).•*´¯)
1.) In your Zimbio page under the link is a “sponsered offer” Is that your offer?
2.) At the end when your looking at the google results for your keyword compitition How far do you typicallly look… e.i. How many pages in to the results? and are you looking at only the natural results?
3.) When you talk about “anchor text” Is the hyperlinked text supposed to say the key word were targeting and if not what should it say? Sorry if you went over this and I missed it.

Nevermind about the list of sites I found that in the
Just working my way thru this stuff and really impressed so far. Got a few questions though.
1. Are you suggesting that I build multiple 2.0 sites for each keyword e.g. a hub, squidoo, blogger etc all for the keyword, lets say ‘buy acai berry’ or are you saying just build one web 2.0 for each keyword?
2. Just to clarify … best to build sites around ‘generic’ buying keywords rather than product names to take advantage of ongoing traffic even after offers are closed - that how you see it?
Cheers.

Patch, check out the download labeled “written summery”
Is there just one video? When I downloaded, I just saw one video and at the end it said they were going to continue on another one. Anyone know? THANKS!
I’ve just started my 1st cpa campaign. I was going through your ‘white hat’ video (I know it was awhile back…) 1, and you mentioned you registered domain names in hub pages, blogger and you mentioned that people were not competing for the acai burn keywords. (in video 1 its 17:08 sec)
How did you find that information? I was trying to figure it out, and franky I wasn’t sure. Look forward to your response.

Excellent videos!
Thank you,

We just get the freebie pages ranked…because offers come and go rapidly in CPA…but you can recycle the traffic from those pages with new offers in the same niche just by changing the url.

If you are more comfortable throwing up regular pages — by all means do it

Hey Guys - quick question…
As you mentioned, the keywords we will be targeting will show “Not Enough Data” in Google’s External Keyword Tool and we should not worry about that.
But, what about Google Insight…your acai burn showed several keywords through Rising Searches. But if there is not enough data for a particular keyword in Google Insight, should we cross that keyword off the list?
Thanks,
Kevin
zerofill Reply:
March 20th, 2009 at 6:37 pm
I think I know what you are asking Kevin…
And that is a tricky part. You can look at competition in adwords to possibly get a feel for it…and even test it. If you see something that you just can’t get any data for even from insights…through up a quick hubpage or squidoo lens and see what the traffic looks like after a few days. I have found keywords countless times that had massive adwords competition but no search data to be found. They turned out to be pretty good. The reason being is because you never know what recent news or magazine article etc may have brought those searches out. So you have to test them.
March 20th, 2009 at 4:33 pm
Kevin,
I don’t understand the question…
March 20th, 2009 at 4:49 pm
Jeremy, do you think it’s even worth bothering to purchase a domain (ie http://www.acaiberryburn.com, etc) and, when creating your Hub/Squid pages to also add a 2nd link to the new domain? I’m thinking long-term here. The Squid/Hub pages will rank faster, but so will your new domain after a long while.
Or is this market so volatile that it isn’t even worth it?
I’m also thinking of flipping the site down the line.
Thoughts?
Jeremy Reply:
March 20th, 2009 at 5:46 pm
Around that specific keyword — NO.
Now, if you were going to buy something generic like http://www.acaiberryreview.com then that might be worth it.
One thing with CPA companies is - the offer is here today and gone tomorrow type of deal. With the free sites, even if the offer is gone, I can change the text up in it or just link them all to a different site for more link juice.

Jeremy,
Thanks,

Jeremy Reply:

Roy, duplicate content is one of those subjects that people are never going to agree on
My view on it is that there is no penalty. However, with that being said, I will still usually change up a small portion of the article — maybe the beginning or the end.

Hi Guys,
The xlm file I imagine is the spread sheet…I cannot open it.
Thanks
Oosha Reply:
March 21st, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Thanks!

Jeremy:
Thanks,
Johnny
Jeremy Reply:
March 21st, 2009 at 2:05 pm
Hey Johnny,
We try to make the videos as simple as possible
To answer your questions…
We still go through the keyword research because you can still often find “gems” in there that don’t contain the words buy and review — plus the google tool is a good automated way to know whether or not other people are paying for traffic for the particular keywords.
As far as EZA - You can still redirect with them, BUT you have to be a little tricky with it
you set up a regular site on your own hosting to put in your resource box so that EZA can check it and approve the article — after they do, you redirect the URL to go straight to the trial offer
No particular reason for HubPages and Zimbo really. I probably will throw up a squidoo and blogger as well. I just wanted to show some examples that were a little different than what people are used to seeing

Oosha,
This is exactly the reason that I chose the keywords that I did…
“buy acai burn”
“acai berry diet reviews”
These are keywords that are obvious “buying keywords” and people looking for these phrases are more likely to buy than not — especially due to the fact that they are able to get it for $4 — the cost of shipping and handling.
The kind of phrases that I wouldn’t target with these types of offers are the generic phrases like…
“how to lose weight”
“weight loss routines”

Johnny,
I’ve found that EZA doesn’t really care for the CPA offers.

Jeremy Reply:

dmail,
I’ve found that the best time to contact the networks is actually on Tuesday and Wednesday.
As with any other business, I imagine Mondays are a pretty hectic day for them.
March 21st, 2009 at 5:17 pm
Jeremy Reply:
March 25th, 2009 at 7:07 am
Some of the pages will never get updated….
What I do is pay attention to where the pages “fall”
If I do a hub today on a particular keyword, I’ll check Google usually about 2 days later and see where it is ranking — if it is on the first, second, or third page, I ‘ll go ahead and update it and throw it a little more link love.
However, if it is on the 15th page of Google or something like that — I just let it slip into the black hole.

Hey Jeremy,
You said …..if it is on the first, second, or third page, I ‘ll go ahead and update it and throw it a little more link love.
When you say you will update it, do you mean you will add more to the article, make it longer? This makes sense to me if its a blog where you could add another post but how about Hubpages, etc?
Thanks,
Sandra
Jeremy Reply:

Sandra,
If it is something like a hub — Just edit a little more content into it.
If it is something like blogger or squidoo - add another post
After you do that — make sure to ping it somewhere like http://www.pingler.com and maybe resubmit RSS if you have the time.
March 21st, 2009 at 7:44 pm
Thanks for clarifying that, Jeremy!
If I decide to use hub pages, Zimbio, squidoo and blogger; do you think two of each with different keywords is enough to test one niche?

You don’t need to edit HTML to add an affiliate banner.
If you want to have the banner in one of the side columns:
- Click on “Add a Gadget”
- Once it opens, click on “HTML/Javascript”, then paste the code for the banner and add a title.
If you want the affiliate banner above the article you have posted:
Go to “edit” in postings and then add this code above the post.
Hope this helps!

1. you mention hubpages, squidoo, ezinearticles, etc can you give us a list of all the websites worth submiting to and which are the easiest
? lame questions sorry but i have never posted on any of these sites.
2. acai burn is a hot product but sometimes do you start doing research and decide to pass on that particular offer? or do you just go ahead and post the articles and see what you get?
3. in your text file you list keyword and rank their “difficulty”, how did you determine this?
thanks for the help!

Jeremy Reply:

March 21st, 2009 at 11:49 pm
Okay, I have a weird problem here and looking for someone to tell me it’s not because I did something stupid.
Every affiliate banner link that I copy and paste on my website leads to “Survey Scout.” I tested this with a whole lot of offers that all show “approved.”
I click on the “free candy” banner and survey scout opens up.
I click on the “free grocery voucher” banner and survery scout opens up.
I did write to them but no response (weekend?)
Any ideas ?

I’m wondering if you live in a country where that offer is not available - so they automatically redirect you.
In the fine print at the offer page, it will (should) tell you if the offer is only available in the USA.
I live in Australia and I find that some CPA offers are redirected to something else.
NEAT TRICK
You can view the offer by pasting the link into one of the free proxy sites such as http://www.hidemyprivacy.com
That removes your location from the equation and you see what Americans will see… because hidemyprivacy is based in the US. There are plenty of other free proxy sites in case you need more.

March 22nd, 2009 at 12:02 am
Oosha,
Are you outside the US? Many of Max Bounty’s offers are US only, so if you have an IP address outside the US, when you try to look at the links, they will show you an offer that is international instead. I know a lot of non-US CPA affiliates have to use a US proxy just so they can see the offers.

I’m able to view the landing page of the offer when I click on the “view landing url” but when I take the banner code from the creatives and paste it on my website, I’m being led to survey scout.
Does that mean that people from the US/Can/UK/Aus - based on the offer, are taken to the actual landing page?

Awesome videos Jeremy! When you were in your Max Bounty account your status was “Approved” I was looking through several offers and I don’t the “Approved” status. In my past experience once you were an affiliate you were automatically approved for offers, excluding maybe some exclusive offers. Raymond,
Yes, Try to include a link on each one that links to another one of your properties…
However, just make sure that you don’t link back to the site.
Example:
If you link your squidoo to your hub…don’t link your hub to your Squidoo. Make sense?
March 22nd, 2009 at 8:58 pm
1) You mentioned in the videos to target “buying keywords”, but some of these keywords also have competition. How much competition is too much to warrant the work required to build a hubpage or squidoo lens? Obviously I’d stay away from competition with more than 2,000 results, but what is preferable.
2) I think I understand how you target those products with popular product names, like Acai Burn etc, but what is the strategy for CPA’s that are not product specific, like petstore Biz Op, or grants, or loans, or ringtones, etc.
Thanks

Feel the need to share, just to keep myself motivated. Ok, here’s what I’ve managed to get done:
I’ve used three different keywords for one offer and created a hub page, squidoo and blog with one lenghty descriptive article each.
For the blogger blog, I’m going to make the first article page static as it looks more like a sales page rather than an article.
Joined the 7-day free trial of SEnuke and used it to create accounts in more than 30 social networking sites. Yet to do the article submissions.
The keyword research methods from Jeremy’s videos are excellent. For the first time, I’m actually enjoying keyword research (always hated it).
I could have done much more if I didn’t have my clients to take care of. Well! I can’t be complaining - that’s my bread and butter.
Would love to know how far you guys have progressed.

Neo,
Sorry about the delay in answers — I sent an email out as I was sick as hell for a coupe days…
Jeremy Reply:
March 26th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
Neo, not every keyword is going to be a winner
If they were — We would all be millionaires
However, just give it some time. As the clicks start to build up you will see sales.

Jeremy, Don and anyone else who has gotten an article to rank:
How many times did you include your keyword in your article and where did you put them? In the beginning, middle, or end? Does it matter?
I posted an article and submitted it to digg but it is nowhere to be seen yet. When I went back though I realized that I had not put the exact keyword in the article itself (only the title) but had used variations of it - I’m guessing this won’t work.
Thank you,

March 23rd, 2009 at 11:25 pm
Sandra,
What I do is have the main keyword in the domain name, title, the first para of the article and once in the middle somewhere and in the last para.

Oosha Reply:

Sandra,
Don’t worry if a site doesn’t accept something, just go ahead and try the others.
Jeremy Reply:
March 25th, 2009 at 6:45 am
Sandra,
You will find that some of the social bookmarking sites won’t take certain sites….
For example, Digg won’t accept a bookmark from EzineArticles because some people will go in and try to bookmark all 500 of their articles. Now, the site itself(digg) looks at EZA as spam…
If a certain site won’t accept your article, don’t worry about it and just move to the next one

Neo,
Are you keeping track of the number of visitors? Get Google analytics on your site or blog.
This way you know how many people are actually visiting your site.
Fewer clicks could mean one of the two:
1. You don’t have enough visitors and this happens when your keyword is not being searched for much. If you’re on the first page and it’s a well-searched for keyword, you will get plenty of traffic.
2. If you are getting enough traffic, but not many clicks, it could mean that the article is not able to create enough interest in your visitors for them to click on the links.

March 24th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
Can we really post an article promoting a CPA on hubpages.com ?
I was in the process of posting my article when I came to this
statement…”No promotional offers or Hubs designed only to promote another site or business” I went to zimbio and posted my article there with no problem. A list of other sites to post to would be nice.

Mr. Ex,
What Oosha says below me here is exactly right….
March 24th, 2009 at 8:06 pm
Mr Ex,
What they mean is that your hub shouldn’t sound too promotional. You have to make it sound informative and helpful. Just don’t start off with “buy this product” or some such thing.
With hub pages, you’re allowed to have two links only and you must ensure both don’t lead to the same place. For ex: One of my links is for the offer landing page and the other leads to my blog.
March 25th, 2009 at 1:10 am
I had a problem with the video files. Windows Media Player would begin to play the video, the suddenly stop. The error message implied that the video files were corrupt.
What happened is that I used a download accelerator program which corrupted the video files during download.
I used the “save target as” right mouse button click option instead of the one click download and everything is working fine now.
Thanks!

There’s something I really don’t get with bookmarking, rss, etc. I hear a lot of people where they just make an article (ezine, squidoo, hubpages), bookmark and rss it and then bam… they get ranked in just a day or two.

Gary,
No we aren’t…
For everyone that is going through this, if you take the information and apply it to different products you will see results — if you try to compete with 200 other people on the same words — you are screwed.
aim Reply:

Jeremy Reply:
March 26th, 2009 at 1:25 pm
I”ve never had much luck with subdomains ranking unless it was a situation like this:
your regular domain is
http://www.health.com
and then you have subdomains like this…
http://www.weightloss.health.com
http://www.cancer.health.com
I don’t think you will have much luck is your regular domain is…
http://www.health.com
and your subdomains are
http://www.reversephonelookup.health.com
With that being said — With subdomains, it won’t cost you anything except for a couple of minutes to be able to test it and know for sure

Jeremy Reply:
April 18th, 2009 at 5:46 pm

Carol
Jeremy Reply:

Carol - I evaluate weaks and strengths based off of the results on the first page of Google…
If I have to compete with a bunch of web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo, blogger, eza, etc…it’s just a matter of building enough links to take those spots.
If however, there are a bunch of “regular” websites with 30 pages of content and new natural links coming in every day from people around the internet then those are a little tougher to crack.
April 20th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Gotcha! Pretty much what I thought, but wanted to be sure there wasn’t more to it.

Hey Jeremy or Don,
Done watching the videos and picked a trial offer but my results came up with no results for tags on jumptags and youtube for keyword research.
Thanks,

Jeremy Reply:

Well, your AM probably recommended it to you because it is new and they are trying to get some traffic to it
So, you could be proactive and simply use some buying keywords like:
buy X
X review
X reviews
free sample of X
etc…
Those terms will start getting some searches when the spam gods start beating down everyones emails with the offers……
Or you cold go to another offer where the data will be more visible.

Hi Jeremy
I know you mentioned not doing PPC in the video, however if I was doing PPC would it be better to link directly to the CPA offer page?
I am thinking if I can get clicks for $0.60 and the offer converts at 1 in 20 or even 1 in 30 I am still up around $15 - $20 with a lot less work and if i was to buy SENuke coupled with the time I put into this, the cost of PPC might work out cheaper.
Jeremy Reply:
April 28th, 2009 at 11:59 pm

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to say thank you to Don and Jeremy; I am really happy with the purchase of this course.

Cheers.
