Great stuff as usual Jeremy and nice to see your feeling better. I was just wondering if you have any preference at all for your money site. Squidoo, Hubs, or a wp blog. If you had to pick one which would one would you want to go with?
Thanks Constantine
Jeremy Reply: March 27th, 2009 at 11:09 am
My preference for money pages are Blogger, Squidoo, or Weebly…
The reason being is, I can get as “salesy” as I want on these pages where Hubs and wordpress sites will close your site if you use too many links or if your page seems too promotional.
Excellent info Jeremy and Don. You guys really put out the effort to help us. I’ve bought more than my fair share of wso’s over the years, but I’m getting more from this than anything else I’ve bought. It’s a game changer for me! Thanks
Dam I thought the money page was the landing page for my offer to.
So I also have to create a nice site to as my money page,or can I have an ezine article for my money page or something? or do I just create a sqidoo lens or something and write a one page article with loads of links over it?
cheers

Marcus, if you already have it set up like that — Don’t sweat it.
Just pick one of the other pages that you have built already and make it the center of a network as I showed in the video.
Here’s another list of 180 social bookmarking websites published by socialmarker.com - http://www.submisocial.com/list.htm. You have to post to them manually unless you get their tool for $150. Personally I’m doing it manually but it’s a good idea for future investment maybe to work faster and bring in profits faster.
just to clarify, you build your money page around a good competition keyword, then, build hubs, lens etc around the same keyword linking as per the flow diagram in the video?
so if you have more than one good kwd, you rinse and repeat for that kwd?
Jeremy Reply: March 27th, 2009 at 3:57 pm
Yup, you got it
Keep in mind though, the things that I discussed here…
Say your main keyword is “buy acai berries” your supporting sites can target keywords like “where to buy acai berries” ” the best place to buy acai berries” or you could just use the base keyword of “buy acai berries”.
nichemkr Reply: April 22nd, 2009 at 8:57 pm
That answers a question I had. So if you have a money page and 6 satellite pages for your network, that network is generally targeting only one keyword. If you have 10 good keywords, then you are going to build 10 networks for the same CPA offer?
Also, why wouldn’t the same keywords we choose be used by bum marketers in promoting non CPA offers? Wouldn’t they still be organic competition for the same traffic? Why would our keywords be targeted to CPA only? Or another way to ask this question would be, why would the terms “buy” & “review” not also apply to a non CPA product? I’m trying to understand why your method of keyword selection presents the least organic competition.
(brain fog)
Jeremy Reply: April 22nd, 2009 at 9:08 pm
Why wouldn’t the same keywords we choose be used by bum marketers in promoting non cpa offers?
Well, why would bum marketers be using a keyword like “buy acai burn” for a non affiliate product? I’m pretty sure that there are no clickbank or other affiliate products that would lead any bum marketers to these keywords
Why would our keywords be targeted to cpa offers only?
Because that is the only place that offers these products
Why would the terms buy and review not apply to a non cpa product?
Well, obviously they do. I’m sure every product that is out there someone is targeting a “buy” or “review” keyword but, for the most part they don’t in CPA because they are too busy giving their money away to Google for adword spends
If you can think of any other reason why a non CPA marketer would target a keyword like “buy acai burn” or “acai burn review” I would be very surprised. There is no competition for these keywords. and I know this from looking at my own sales as well as my referral stats for the people that have joined this boot camp.
nichemkr Reply: April 22nd, 2009 at 9:19 pm
I understand now. I think I was confused a little by the keywords in the researchtext file. A couple of them were more general in nature and did not refer to the product name. Thanks for your quick response.
Jeremy Reply: April 22nd, 2009 at 9:24 pm
But keep in mind, with many of these offers anything to do with the product itself or in this case Acai Berry — keywords will be easy to find…
There are no acai berry ebooks that clickbank is selling…the only place that these products are being sold in a mass scale is the cpa networks.
Just wanted to know for all the sites you are all making are you just writing new content for every page?
I read that you can get article spinner software is that any good?
I also want to know if I can copy paragraphs from say 3 different articles and then paste them and put them altogether to make my own page up?
cheers
Marcus
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:52 am
Marcus,
Just make slight modifications to the content and it will be good as new
I use senuke, and was wondering if there is a way to insert the linking structure when building the sites? Or do I have to log into each new site (ie hubpage, lens etc) once they are built and add the link to the next one myself?
Thanks
Emma
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:51 am
Emma,
You can try putting #lasturl# at the bottom of your article - that is supposed to force SENUKE to include a link to the last site that was created from the current one.
Go back and check afterwards because sometimes it messes up.
I tried using this method for 3 trial offer products using senuke but so far no sales. Also in my network stats, I’m only getting like 1 click or 2… How many keywords should I target? Do I make a new round of these “social network” sites for each keyword that I keep for the product? That means, if for product A, I sussed out 5 buying keywords, do I post 5 different content targeting each 5 keywords to these sites? Also, I noticed that many of these product keywords doesn’t have any or much searches. Does it matter?
I admit I feel a little discouraged looking at my results. What am I doing wrong? Hope I can some help pls.
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:50 am
Neo, send us an email with some of your sites…
We have already had 15+ people make their first sale and I’m sure that you are going to get yours soon too - Let us take a look at what you are doing and we can go from there.
I am just creating a story at quizilla and for the life of me I cannot find out how to put a link on my page.On other pages I have put up for example at hubpages, there has been a link symbol at the top which allowed me to create my link to my site

Marcus
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:49 am
Marcus, I believe at quizilla your links are actually in your tags
If blogger, hubpages, squidoo, etc are the article or “outer-hub” pages, what do you use for your money page? Another “social” web page or an html page hosted on a keyword-rich domain that I own? What is a money page supposed to look like? Is it just another article page?
Johnny
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:48 am
Johnny, I like to use sites like Blogger and Squidoo as the actual money pages because you can add pictures and sell as much as you want.
If you have the ability to throw up a wordpress blog or a regular site and are comfortable doing so — that would be fine to use.
Okay I’ve got circles all over my note pages. I’ve created a blogger blog, a wetpaint blog, a wordpress blog and put one article on each of them. The money page is going to my CPA affiliate page before I read that the money page should be a static site. I’ll fix that later.
But I cannot figure how to link from say the blogger blog to the wetpaint blog?
I know it’s easy for some but hard for me to figure out. let me in on the secret.
thanks,
Jim
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:46 am
Jim,
The same way that you have a link going from your blogger directly to your cpa landing page…Just have a link like that going to one of your other properties as well with the anchor text of the keyword that you are going after.
Just change the opening statement and the closing statement?
Add or delete a paragraph?
Replace several words with synonyms?
Or……..?
Looking for the easiest way to get the desired results. Thanks.
Gary Harvey
Oosha Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 2:22 am
Hi Gary,
No, you don’t have to delete any paragraphs.
Give the article a unique title.
I suggest changing the first paragraph about 60%. If you can, just rewrite each sentence.
For the rest of the article, don’t concentrate on just a few sentences here and there. Change the whole thing (as you said) replacing several words with synonyms.
Make major changes in the last paragraph.
You should be able to complete the whole thing in ten minutes.
That’s how I do my rewrites.
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:45 am
Gary, everyone has a different thought about duplicate content etc…
Normally, I change the title and a little bit if the first and last paragraph and just run with it. It wouldn’t hurt to change it up a bit more, but I don’t think It really hurts if you don’t.
what’s the trick on an article being accepted at HUBPAGES? I wrote my unique article to the tune of about 400 words on my niche but when I went to publish it I get a message saying that it was too little content.
In looking around the inference is that I need 5 hub pages, links to images.
So can anyone help me what I need to do to get my one (1) article accepted?
thanks in advance,
Jim
Oosha Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 2:25 am
Just add a few sentences here and there, and make the article about 500 words, and resubmit it. Mine was around 500 and there was no problem.
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:43 am
Jim,
I’ve never had any issue with hubpages…
Like oosha says — Just make your article 4 - 500 words and make sure not to include more than 2 links. Make sure that they don’t go to the same place
A big thank you both. After a tough 2 weeks and having only a dial up connection I finally got into the bootcamp to try it out. I followed your steps and within 6 hours had my first sale ….
(LOL) it took like hours to download the videos and nearly as long submitting to sites.
From watching you guys I finally finally got how important keyword research and those keywords are.
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:41 am
That is awesome news!
The first sale replies are our favorite parts of our bootcamps
So what I can see from this is that the promotion of our social networks that we build is from social bookmarking and RSS feeds. I see no mention of article marketing even though my hunch says it’s part of the mix here.
Jeremy/Don can you give me some insights about this type strategy? when I write articles and submit to the directories would I submit them to the various social articles that I’ve written or to my “money page?”
thanks,
Jim
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:41 am
Jim, you can submit articles…
We don’t though. With these keywords, you can usually rank your lenses, blogs, etc…without article marketing. A couple of bookmarks, some content, and rss is usually all it takes.
Okay guys, do it right and you’ll succeed. Don’t give up and don’t get frustrated.
I got five sales so far. Three in one day and two on one day.
I’m really really motivated now. I was getting frustrated when my first offer was getting lots of clicks but no sales. Obviously, their landing page is not doing what it should be. I found success with my second offer and that is a new one with no EPC. It looked interesting to me and I thought others would like it too.
The key here is finding the right offers and keywords. Look for keywords with less competition and high number of searches. If you can’t find any keywords with less competition in a particular niche, just leave it and find another offer.
When we are starting out with CPA, we may find it tough to compete with the high flyers.
All the best!
PS: Thanks Jeremy
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:39 am
That is awesome news!
All you have to do is scale it up now with a couple more offers and you will be good to go!
orbit1 Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 10:16 am
Oosha, that’s great. Good work.
Are you doing the exact steps in this bootcamp or are you doing ppc?
Keep it up.
Cheers
Steve
Oosha Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 11:01 pm
Thanks Steve,
I’ve achieved those five sales following the exact steps from this bootcamp. But I’m planning on doing PPC also if I find the right offers with high-paying “leads.”
But I want to follow Jeremy’s methods before I venture out on my own.
Looks really good to me and I know you approve of this as you’re on the comments list.
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:38 am
alashton, that would be a very good landing page if you are good with WordPress. If you want, I’ll talk to him and see if we can’t get a better deal for the bootcamp
Has anyone here had any experience with CXDigitalMedia? I’m running one of their offers for this, but the clicks aren’t being recorded (I tested by clicking my own link). This leads me to believe that any conversions that I may have made aren’t being recorded either. I’m wondering if I should give them the chance to fix the problem or if I should just jump ship and go with another network and offer. I put a lot of work into getting my “money page” onto the first page of google for my target search phrase, so I’m hesitant to just abandon all of that. I’ve only found one other network running the same offer so far, and they’re paying $9 less per conversion than CXDM. Any thoughts?
Just want to be sure I understand the network linking structure correctly. We link each one to the main site and also link one to another until you get to your last site. (Breaks the cycle to avoid Google issues) But, other than our money site, we don’t put in links to the offer on these other sites? Only your main money site has a link to the actual offer?
Jeremy Reply: March 30th, 2009 at 8:36 pm
On all other sites except for Hubpages and Wordpress you can put a third link directly to the offer…
Wordpress or Hub will flip out if you have more than 2 links
i actually started this site out on acai before i bought into the cpa bootcamp, i was targetting acai colon cleanse ” as a keyword and i had not much success, i also put up an ebay classified ad which got 600 views and garnered me 14 sign-ups but no sales at all…what elseam i doing wrong? http://acaicoloncleanse.blogspot.com
cheers
Jeremy Reply: April 9th, 2009 at 11:07 pm
Paco, not all keywords will be winners…Even I still go through 2 or 3 sometimes before finding a winner
If I’m using Marketleverage and want to add links on my money page, what code do I use? I know how to copy and paste the codes for banners and etc…,but what about if I just want to put a link with example: “ WORDS ? Can I do that or is that not allowed? If I can do that, what’s the code for my affiliate link? I feel like my question isn’t making sense.
Ummmm…Is there a simple link code instead of the url + possibly the aff link + these types of codes: &b=33309&d=0&l=0&o=&p=0&c=5751&s1=&s2=&s3=&s4=&s5= ? Or should that always be included? When I click on the link with all the extra stuff in it, it seems to work fine.
Most of the included material are for email creatives. What can I use for search?
what happens now that google is banning all review sites ( or just taking them down?) i had three well performimng sites on health products they got the axe yesterday..i think the cpa market is going to take a hammering from g fo the forced continuity programs…does this affect a lot of the strategies involved here???
Jeremy Reply: July 31st, 2009 at 11:36 am
The “slap” is simply for paid advertisers - they don’t want their name associated with some of the rebills…we have seen 0 effect on our organic rankings…
Search for any keyword and you see a blog or 2.0 site ranking tops most of the time
paco88 Reply: August 22nd, 2009 at 2:36 am
hey jeremy,
thanks for answering, i was just wondering though that all my blogs ( acai ) are now off the pages of g and a lot of the blogs on blogger that i saw who were ranking close to me on the 1st page are gone too - (around the same date i know a few of the owners of the blogs )
my real concern is i was making very good money when the blogs were ranking high ( and so were the guys i talked to)
but now that they are gone frm the rankings , i am not making money - however i still get fair amount of traffic from buying keywords , and that traffic is coming from web 2.0 sites (zimbio, hub etc..) but as i said no sales.. guess the short question i shouldve asked is this - is it necessary (or in your experience) for the money site to get high rankings in order to get sales??? im doin about 43 visits a day from combined 2.0 sites but its frustrating not to see sales anymore ( am i beng scrubbed???)
thanks for your time jeremy
Jeremy Reply: August 22nd, 2009 at 2:56 am
There is a lot of weird stuff going on right now - Google is smacking the hell out of acai right now along with some other rebills…
Well Squidoo wasn’t too friendly to my power colon cleanse article, so I tried blogger.com and whamo! It’s cool about Hub pages, they’ll take 2 links, so I’ve answered all my own question there.
I’ve now done 4 articles - and linked them. Do we just keep going or is that enough for one campaign?
I’ve also found that Digg isn’t too happy with cpa offer articles either. Even though I did my best to write something of interest. Any comments folks?

For the rest of the article, don’t concentrate on just a few sentences here and there. Change the whole thing (as you said) replacing several words with synonyms.
Make major changes in the last paragraph.
You should be able to complete the whole thing in ten minutes.
That’s how I do my rewrites.

Gary, everyone has a different thought about duplicate content etc…
Normally, I change the title and a little bit if the first and last paragraph and just run with it. It wouldn’t hurt to change it up a bit more, but I don’t think It really hurts if you don’t.

We will be talking about offers like that in the next day or 2
Right now we are trying to make sure that everyone has a grasp on this before we introduce more chaos to the mix

what’s the trick on an article being accepted at HUBPAGES? I wrote my unique article to the tune of about 400 words on my niche but when I went to publish it I get a message saying that it was too little content.
In looking around the inference is that I need 5 hub pages, links to images.
So can anyone help me what I need to do to get my one (1) article accepted?
thanks in advance,
Jim

Just add a few sentences here and there, and make the article about 500 words, and resubmit it. Mine was around 500 and there was no problem.

Jim,
I’ve never had any issue with hubpages…
Like oosha says — Just make your article 4 - 500 words and make sure not to include more than 2 links. Make sure that they don’t go to the same place

Hi Guys
A big thank you both. After a tough 2 weeks and having only a dial up connection I finally got into the bootcamp to try it out. I followed your steps and within 6 hours had my first sale ….
(LOL) it took like hours to download the videos and nearly as long submitting to sites.
From watching you guys I finally finally got how important keyword research and those keywords are.

That is awesome news!
The first sale replies are our favorite parts of our bootcamps

So what I can see from this is that the promotion of our social networks that we build is from social bookmarking and RSS feeds. I see no mention of article marketing even though my hunch says it’s part of the mix here.
Jeremy/Don can you give me some insights about this type strategy? when I write articles and submit to the directories would I submit them to the various social articles that I’ve written or to my “money page?”
thanks,
Jim

Jim, you can submit articles…
We don’t though. With these keywords, you can usually rank your lenses, blogs, etc…without article marketing. A couple of bookmarks, some content, and rss is usually all it takes.

Jeremy,
What do you think of Automatic Article Submitter compared to SEnuke in terms of spinning and submitting? I saw you checking it out on WF.
Jeremy Reply:

Automatic Article Submitter is a very nice piece of software. SENUKE does not submit articles to directories.

Oosha, that’s great. Good work.
Are you doing the exact steps in this bootcamp or are you doing ppc?
Keep it up.

Thanks Steve,
I’ve achieved those five sales following the exact steps from this bootcamp. But I’m planning on doing PPC also if I find the right offers with high-paying “leads.”
But I want to follow Jeremy’s methods before I venture out on my own.
All the best to you!

Hi
I am still confused over the money site issue. I would have linked all those sites to the actual offer page - which I now understand is wrong.
So would a good solution be this:

Looks really good to me and I know you approve of this as you’re on the comments list.

alashton, that would be a very good landing page if you are good with WordPress.

Jeremy,
Just want to be sure I understand the network linking structure correctly. We link each one to the main site and also link one to another until you get to your last site. (Breaks the cycle to avoid Google issues) But, other than our money site, we don’t put in links to the offer on these other sites? Only your main money site has a link to the actual offer?
Jeremy Reply:
March 30th, 2009 at 8:36 pm
On all other sites except for Hubpages and Wordpress you can put a third link directly to the offer…
Wordpress or Hub will flip out if you have more than 2 links
March 30th, 2009 at 8:54 pm
so which one is our money site? is that the one we have all promotion on? can it be either blogger page? or hubpage or squidoo? cheers
Jeremy Reply:

I would not use hubpages as your main money site as they are not very big on commercial pages.

Jeremy or Don,
If I’m using Marketleverage and want to add links on my money page, what code do I use?
I’m sorry if this is vague.

what happens now that google is banning all review sites ( or just taking them down?) i had three well performimng sites on health products they got the axe yesterday..i think the cpa market is going to take a hammering from g fo the forced continuity programs…does this affect a lot of the strategies involved here???

The “slap” is simply for paid advertisers - they don’t want their name associated with some of the rebills…we have seen 0 effect on our organic rankings…
Search for any keyword and you see a blog or 2.0 site ranking tops most of the time

hey jeremy,
thanks for answering, i was just wondering though that all my blogs ( acai ) are now off the pages of g and a lot of the blogs on blogger that i saw who were ranking close to me on the 1st page are gone too - (around the same date i know a few of the owners of the blogs )
my real concern is i was making very good money when the blogs were ranking high ( and so were the guys i talked to)
but now that they are gone frm the rankings , i am not making money - however i still get fair amount of traffic from buying keywords , and that traffic is coming from web 2.0 sites (zimbio, hub etc..) but as i said no sales.. guess the short question i shouldve asked is this - is it necessary (or in your experience) for the money site to get high rankings in order to get sales??? im doin about 43 visits a day from combined 2.0 sites but its frustrating not to see sales anymore ( am i beng scrubbed???)
thanks for your time jeremy

Not quite up with it yet.
Hi I joined in a bit late. What I wanted to ask was :
So with my hub pages (1 link) - I won’t be able to sell anything from them will i?
So why use hub pages if you only get to link to 1 other page, which isn’t the product?
Is it worth doing just for the pr?
Thanks - hope you’re all over your flu
Kahty

Well Squidoo wasn’t too friendly to my power colon cleanse article, so I tried blogger.com and whamo! It’s cool about Hub pages, they’ll take 2 links, so I’ve answered all my own question there.
I’ve now done 4 articles - and linked them. Do we just keep going or is that enough for one campaign?
I’ve also found that Digg isn’t too happy with cpa offer articles either. Even though I did my best to write something of interest. Any comments folks?
Thanks,
