Mario -- This method can be VERY BLACKHAT if used that way...Which is what I think Don was trying to get across.

The way we showed it though was more on the light side :)

It's funny how Jeremy made this video to justify that the method is not blackhat, while Don mentioned at least 3 times in the video that the method he is showing is blackhat ;-)

Oosha, I agree with you 100% and Don and Jeremy you two are awesome for what you have taught and continue to teach.

I know for a fact and not going to go into detail as to how I know, but the "big boys" in cpa always walk the grey/black line and they are laughing all the way to the bank. And there is no way any laws here are being broken.

I too personally would like to know more about grey and black methods and would welcome the learning experience.

Thanks again for all your hard work!

I'm a little bit surprised that there was an outcry about this method. When you think about it, this method is the same thing that just about every internet marketer does - they offer you a bonus for giving them your email address. This is basically the same, except they are giving their email address to the offer owner rather than you. We don't consider it blackhat when John Reese or Mike Filsaime or whoever says give me your email address and I'll give you this free report.

As long as the CPA network says you can incentivize an offer, there is nothing wrong with this. Incidentally, that's a big deal. Every CPA offer tells you how you can promote it. Make sure incentives are okay before you use it. Also remember that the person who lands on these pages has a choice as to whether they want to fill out the offers. You are in no way compelling them to. That's not black hat in the least.

I think some of you should browse some of the black hat forums and you'll see what I mean. If you don't realize what is going on out there, you're going to be shocked. There are methods that post fake job offers to Craigs List. Software that gets clandestinely placed on people's computers (check out the pay per install industry). Mass cookie stuffing. And on and on. This doesn't even compare. You can make it as white hat as you want by changing the incentive and ensuring that the user gets it when they fill out the offer.

You guys....Don't be so harsh.

There are people who weight the moral and ethical things into all equations. That isn't a bad thing....

What is hard with CPA though is...So many of the methods and tactics that are used can be construed as black hat and can definitely be used as such :)

Don and I might edge into the gray every now and again, but from the most part we keep our noses pretty clean. It sucks to build up 10 or 15K in an account and then have the network snatch it away from you :)

So, we will leave it at different strokes for different folks :)

I will say that we encourage all of you to take a white hat approach to CPA especially in the beginning until you know how and when to protect yourself. Unfortunately, there is no way that we can cover all of them unless we turn this into a lifelong bootcamp lol.

So, stick to the clean stuff until you get the hang of it and then go from there :)

Black Hat? Give me a break! Teach EVERYTHING. If someone doesn't like it tell them to go to hell. Period. I want to learn whatever works. I, and only I, will make the decision about whether or not to use a particular technique, not some gaywad who worries about offending his shadow. Keep going.

This is great information you are giving us Jeremy. If anything i dont mind if you get even a little darker. I personally like all the methods you are teaching, and would like to see more of each. Keep up the great work and dont let a couple loser's opinions stop you from teaching what is great stuff.

Thanks

For me, Don and Jeremy are the real deal.... This is my first time to have somebody replying honest answers to my email...=) So, even if it is grey, black or even all the colors of hat, I would be glad to listen to them and if they told me to do 50 push ups in this bootcamp, i would also be glad to do it...=) I also agree to the above poster, "We are all adults surely we can decide what we want to use and what we don't..."
